We provide our students with facilities that support exploration in both film-based and digital photography. Our program offers the space and resources necessary to study a range of applications within the medium from the fine art approach, to social and documentary issues to commercial photography.
- Professionally equipped analog black and white darkroom with dedicated printing and film development areas
- Complete lighting studio including a wide range of strobes and continuous lights, medium and large format cameras, posing tables and additional accessories
- Digital lab with 18 workstations, scanners, and multiple inkjet printers including a wide format printer
- The Barnes-Franklin Gallery offers exhibitions throughout the year including an annual student show and group exhibitions for students completing the photography degree
The darkroom is open at select times throughout the semester and is supervised by faculty member, Arthur Simoes who is available for consultation and feedback during open hours.
