Add or adjust course standards from the “Standards” tab of your course page. After creating a new course this section will be blank. Institutional standards, when used with a rubric, provide benchmarks for instructor grading but also allow students to see how well they are meeting course requirements. To begin adding standards click “Add/Edit Standards.”
A list of ALL institutional standards is provided on this page. You can limit your search using the top bar. The “All Standards” drop box will allow you to display, for example, all general education abilities. The “My courses” drop box will let you see what standards you’ve applied to other courses.
To add a standard simply click “Add” next to the corresponding option.
