Sometimes the word “community” is not emphasized enough at community colleges. At Tunxis, we are committed to creating forums, round tables, debates, and presentations to bring “community” back. The college’s vision statement reads as follows: Tunxis will be a vibrant educational and cultural center responsive to current as well as emerging student and community needs.
