How to request a blog

  1. Submit a written request to the Tunxis Blog Service(TBS) administrator via the new blog request form.
  2. Your request will be reviewed by the TBS administrator. Once approved, your blog will be created and associated with your account.
  3. You will be notified by e-mail when your request has been processed. You can then log in and begin blogging.


Blogs are typically interactive things which allow others to comment on your posts. If you are allowing comments on your posts (you don’t have to), then you must moderate each comment before it is added to the blog, because all blog content is viewable by the public at large when hosted on our server.

Moderation of comments is to be handled only by the blog owner.

Special permission must be granted by the president of the College in order to have a blog which allows non-authenticated comment. You can request this permission at the time of the blog request or afterward by using the request to allow non-authenticated content form.

Your Account

Treat your TBS account information as you do your Tunxis network ID (NetID) and password!  Never give your credentials out.  We will never ask you for your credentials via e-mail – anyone doing so is phishing and that is illegal.
