Accounting is the official “language of business”. Studying and mastering accounting will open doors to any business within any industry. Students who graduate with a certificate in accounting are more marketable in the business world. In addition, some of our students have continued with their education and received associates degrees and bachelor degrees and have even become certified public accountants. According to the Connecticut Society of CPAs, the job growth in accounting will be 18% in the next 8 years because of the large amount of baby boomers that will be retiring in the field of accounting; this is more job growth than any other field. Students are often able to get paid internships in the field of accounting as well.
