Students may no longer register for the Physical Therapist Assistant program through Tunxis Community College. The program is now a stand alone program at Naugatuck Valley Community College. If you are a returning student, a representative from NVCC will be contacting you to fill out an application form to NVCC so that you may register for the spring 2015 semester.

Tunxis Community College participates in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program as part of a consortium with Naugatuck Community College and others. Physical Therapist Assistant Program Application

Students may apply for admission into the PTA Program at only one of the consortium colleges. The PTA Program is a selective admissions program that begins in January of each year. The deadline for applying to the Physical Therapist Assistant Program is October 15, for admission the following Spring term.
